LVXFRMS
is an abbreviation (that fits on my license plate). It stands for
"Love Transforms."
This is the belief that the practice of love transforms people, relationships, institutions, and the world.
I prefer to be on a non-algorithmically driven social network, so you won't find me on Twitter, Bluesky, or any of the Meta products. Instead, find me in the Fediverse. I'm on the Mastodon servers @lvxfrms@mastodon.sdf.org, or @kink@mstdn.social. I blog occasionally.
Spiritual Direction is a ministry of sacred listening. A spiritual director is a companion on your spiritual journey. Because I believe that each of us is created in and moves with an image of the Divine source, I listen with you to the movement of the Divine in your life, and join you for a time as a partner in the dance. In our sessions, we'll talk about your spiritual life, the presence of spirituality in your life, questions, discernments, and how you feel or what you notice as a spiritual person in the world. I was trained as a spiritual director in the Apprenticeship Program of the Guild for Spiritual Guidance, and I'm a member of Spiritual Directors International, adhering to their professional and ethical guidelines. I welcome conversations about spiritual direction, so feel free to contact me if you are curious.
Supervision of Spiritual Directors serves to support the growth of those who offer Spiritual Direction.
Because valuable insights most often come as the result of self-reflection and deep, intentional conversations regarding our ministry as Spiritual Directors, I believe supervision sessions should offer a space to explore questions, curiosities, concerns, blind-spots, and desires you may have regarding ways to grow in your ministry.
Feel free to contact me if you are a spiritual director seeking supervision.
